Old-looking young woman falls asleep and her kid disappears. A year later, her and her husband/remaining children move into a creaky studio set with a well in the basement and shizzle.

Lots of old people and a woman who looks like Steve Coogan turn up and offer opinions about ghosts and stuff. Turns out the kid's dead. Ends.

Silly old tits set in the prohibition era US where Bruce Forsythe* plays Gunny McShootybang, a man who literally fires five bullets for every word he says.

Good soundtrack but mostly rubbish film.

01/12/12 They Live (1988)

Twenty four year old film where Earth gets invaded by strangely coloured Natasha Kaplinskys. Well, not so much invaded as taken over via the back door.

'Via the back door' plip, gibble etc.

Anyway, this film is fucking excellent, the obvious but brilliant satirical comment on the ruling class draining everyone else until there's nothing left to give is arguably more true now that it was two decades ago. 

Brilliant.

Also has a small fight scene in an alley.

I'm an invading alien.
