Spies doing spy
stuff. I thought the TV show took a turn for the bollocks about half way
through its run, but this was a good effort.
Saw it with my brother who thought it was a 6/10, but he had been up most of the night after watching the terrible mistake that was the general election.
With that in mind, have a read of this:

I thought it was closer to a 7/10 myself.

Well done, Britain. Well fucking done.
Hey cheers mate!
ReplyDeleteSadly the Fighting Back posts are likely to become a regular series over on the blog because it really does look like we're gonna have to fight.
As for Spooks, I'm tempted by this. I wanted to go to the cinema this week to see Falling but my useless fleapit believes anything without Adam Sandler or CGI to be above them so it hasn't made it to here :( Might give Spooks a go, even though I stopped watching the series with any real interest after series 3 and gave up completely around a series later. Could not stand Rupert Penry Ponce.
Yup. They may have won the battle, as well as increased the strength of their defences, but the war is far from over!
ReplyDeleteAs for the film, yeah, it's worth a crack for sure. Much more like a '70s spy film than a Bourne or Craig-era Bond, but that's no bad thing.
That sounds like a very good thing!
DeleteHave you been watching The Game on BBC2? That's very good, really immersed in the 70s espionage genre
