02/01/14 Tyrannosaur (2011)

A film that you've gotta be in the mood for, however, if you are, then it's a miserableak masterpiece.

Written and directed by Paddy Considine, an icon of ours due to his performance in Dead Man's Shoes, he's done an amazing job with his first film. Not a single shot is wasted and everyone in front of the camera is completely believable.

Yeah, it's glum, but only two days in, it's possibly the film of the year.

Doesn't feature any actual dinosaurs though.

This is the third time we've watched this since starting this nonsense fifteen months ago, so read the other reviews. When a film's this good, it deserves frequent repeat viewings.
