A young girl is struggling with her lot. A loveless home life, the social hierarchy of her school pushes her into a friendless corner, she lacks confidence and feels abandoned.
Then, one day, her mirror reflection starts talking to her, saying words to the effect of "Hey, I'm a different version of you, I can change things. All we have to do is swap places." So she agrees. As expected, things initially improve, then Reflecto-version gets power hungry and it all goes to wank.
There is some fact behind this unlikely sounding tale. The dynamic, youthful, energetic, slender-waistlined go-getter typing this is often met by a grey-faced, balding, red-eyed, tired parody of the truth when he looks in a mirror.
They are obviously all portals to a bizarre mockery of our true dimension(s)...
Actually, more embarrassing than the creeping fatigues of age, is the fact that two or three times as an adult, when out in public, I have caught my reflection in a mirrored surface and thought "I know him."
Not a joke.
Twat.
Anyway, yeah, the film's fun enough if you are into angsty-lite nearly-horror.
