About time someone made this film. My house just never shuts up, it's all "blah, blah, blah this" or "Blah, blah, blah that". Bastard thing. Still, something called "The Gobshite Domicile" would probably be a very different film.
As for this one, it's about a woman and her dad who turn up at a knackered cottage to renovate it for a friend. The first night they're there, there's some noises upstairs, papa goes to investigate and gets attcked by someone, then lays on the floor being a bit dead or something. The daughter then ambles around the house for ages, a few more things happen, there's an unlikely twist then it ends.
It's filmed in the style of one continous shot and, a few obvious cut points aside, this is definately the film's most meritorious aspect. The acting's OK but it waddles along at a ponderous speed, some character actions are very questionable and the twist is rectum.
