Maze (2017)

Film about the real life Maze prison escape where a bunch of IRA prisoners managed to get out.

The film is wise, or perhaps shy, enough not to focus much at all on the politics involved and instead spend its running time detailing the planning and practicalities or engineering such a large scale escape.

Certainly took some ingenuity and guile. How 'heroic' the escape was is far more open to interpretation.
