I've got a friend who's really into far eastern culture and history and whatnot, so I texted him whilst we were watching this and asked him what the deal is with cutting your fingers off to apologise to a crime boss over there.
He didn't know, but we assumed they were all kept in 'apology finger' jars and that the bosses traded them like kids used over here with Panini stickers.
