2018 The White Shadow (1924)

I rented this from Blockbuster Video 95 years ago and forgot to take it back. Went into town expecting quite a hefty late return fee only to discover that they've gone out of business.

Ha! That'll show you bastards! I play the long game, me!

I do somewhat mourn the demise of physical movie rentals though. As I've probably said before on here, and with tedious frequency in real life, it made an event of seeing a film; going out, handling and reading the boxes, talking to the staff, buying an arseload of snacks and a takeaway, going back home and feeling like you've done something with your evening.
Well, a lot more than just pressing some buttons and not moving from the sofa.

Anyway, this film was long thought to be lost until a partial copy turned up in a garden shed in New Zeland.

Probably underneath a hat with corks on it, hundreds of beer tins and fifty sheep.
