2018 The Cured (2017)

A film set in Ireland in the months following a zombie/rage virus outbreak. There's been a cure found, but those who've been given it are still regarded by the majority as responsible for the acts of aggression/violence/child eating that they done whilst infected.

Some of the curees, sick of the emotional and physical beatings they're receiving for things that were out of their control, form a kinda militant union, and demand to be treated as the equals they once were.

Of course it all goes a bit bollock shaped and kicks off.

Probably some sort of metaphor for The Troubles or drug use or something, I dunno, I'll leave that interpretation stuff to the 25yr old Empire reviewers who are desperate to display their knowledge of world events and cinema history.

Either way, it's pretty good, but not as good as it should have been.
