Australian film about
a masked fellow who is going around murdering the city's rum buggers. a bit
like a member of Anonymous going rogue and getting stabby.
Well, that's half the
story. The other half, after Mr Stabford's arrest, focuses on the media
exploitation of vigilantism, itself reflecting the moral grey area of such
acts, and the divided public opinion on what he's done.
The scene when Ol'
Stabbo confronts the guy responsible for his actions is genuinely excellent, a
real spike in quality in an already very good little film.
He does also shoot and club people to death.
